This could be your next best move… This is a newly created role designed to spearhead our large winning provider into not only the IT Apprenticeships market where you will be presenting and selling solutions and services to new and existing customers across Teeside. Our client will be providing advanced IT apprenticeships to a range of blue chip clients across the UK. As an Employer Partnership Consultant you will be visiting new and existing businesses to identify and create apprenticeship opportunities for young people. Working alongside our clients marketing, talent recruitment and employer engagement teams they will develop a strong team ethos and spirit, supporting the overall business goals, whilst having fun along the way. This is a brand new role, created as part of the new city-centre hub network in the North East, starting with the Newcastle and Teeside. The Newcastle Hub is based in The Catalyst, a hotbed of digital innovation, home to an ever-growing number of digital, tech, and gaming businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to make the role entirely your own, and to carve out a space for apprentices within Newcastles rapidly scaling IT, Digital and Tech sector. You will be working alongside a small and supportive team of colleagues working in similar roles. The main responsibilities in this role include setting up and attending business development meetings with customers, developing relationships with digital and IT businesses in the area, coordinating with recruitment colleagues to fulfil apprenticeship vacancies created, and educating local employer networks on the benefits of apprenticeship training programmes. Some of our clients most successful employees in similar roles have come from a range of professional backgrounds, including sales, recruitment, further education, travel, retail, business development and law. We are looking for: Previous experience of meeting employer needs through recruitment, training, education or other development solutions Previous experience in a sales environment, Identified and generated new sales leads A proven history of meeting and exceeding objectives You will be: Organising and attend client meetings Pitch and present persuasively on products and/or services Build and maintain positive and fruitful working relationships with existing customers Researching organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing, recruitment and training Identifying and attending conferences, networking meetings, and industry events Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays Do you know the Apprenticeships sector/market and feel you could successfully engage with businesses who will engage with an apprenticeship model.
