Overview
A Global organisation, currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their established but rapidly expanding Global Tech Hub in Glasgow. The existing function exists in order to provide best-in-class Developer Tools, reference Architectures and Practices to the Global Developer Population. My client is looking to recruit well-rounded engineers who are able to assist in getting services migrated onto Cloud, using Tools to automate the overall process. This is an exciting role in a truly unique area, with huge career progression from a Projects, Tooling and Technology perspective that will keep your skills at a cutting edge level. Helpful Skills Experience with Docker based application hosting, including the development and building of container images. Experience developing Chef recipes. Experience with Continuous Integration concepts and systems such as Jenkins. Including creating build pipelines. Experience with Linux Or Windows operating systems and automation through scripting. Experience with AWS for application hosting Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation Experience in the build and deploy of Java and .NET applications.
