Regional Automotive Technician Coach/Mentor/Assessor [North UK Patch] Aligra are pleased to announce TWO new roles within the growing prestige car brand Apprenticeship Programme. IMPORTANT INFO : This Regional Coach/Mentor role will cover the North of England, based from home. Note you must live in the north of the country – not specifically Harrogate, this location only illustrated to enable us to place the advert on this job site – essentially being in a central north UK location works well. The Regional Coach will need to deliver level 2-3 training programmes with the brand Technical Apprentices. Applicants should have experience in working on Standards and Frameworks with greater proportion of the case load working on Auto Care and Service Technician Standards. Applicants should be a competent trainer and coach and prepared to deliver outstanding results with a real passion for the automotive sector and technological developments in brand vehicle range. Key Responsibilities: Arrange and deliver high quality coaching, assessment, training and progression reviews with all technical apprentices. Monitor and plan all pre-requisite learning through the brands learner management system. Assist with development of new training material to create highly engaging coaching sessions meeting the needs of the apprenticeship standards and brands Cars learner journey. Plan coaching and assessment sessions making excellent use of all training resources and web meeting tools to ensure delivery is high impact and efficiencies. Work with apprentices to understand functional skills requirements using assessment and diagnostic tools. Facilitate skills testing and assessments for new apprentice recruits. Carry out coaching and assessment with apprentices at their place of work to progress their apprenticeship and skills competence. Carry out progression meetings with the apprentice dealer manager and highlight areas of development and outstanding performance. Produce off the job training reports for employers and development coaches. Assist with the development of learners to be put forward for World Skills. Ensure that personal development is maintained and you attend relevant updates sessions linked to professional development. Manage your diary to make the best use of time to meet the targets laid down. Use all resources in an approved, safe and efficient manner. Work to timely completion targets with your apprentice case load. Promote a positive behavioural culture encouraging teamwork and promoting the Brand. Act as an ambassador for the brands Cars Apprenticeship Training, proactively demonstrating good practice.
