Production Supervisor
Overview
Nine Twenty are working with our Medical Device Manufacturing client who are on the look out for a Production Supervisor to lead their Formulation & Fermentation team. You must have People Management skills and able to either Supervise or Lead a Team of Operators. Ideally our client requires candidates who come from a Medical/Pharmaceutical/Chemical/GMP/FDA regulated background. Whats in it for you? Good salary DOE Dayshift position Opportunity for Overtime Flexitime Responsibilities: Manage day to day operations to ensure production plan and targets are met Supervise team members and ensure operations are carried out in accordance SOP's Develop & maintain the department KPI’s to improve efficiencies Identify, implement and sustain process improvements Responsible for all aspects of Health & Safety associated with in the production areas Effectively manage and support direct reports Document, support and investigate quality issues Identify, coach and develop individual training plans Conducting regular team meetings Contribute as a member of the second-tier management team to drive the business forward. Candidate requirements: 1 – 3 years’ experience within a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or closely related industry or FDA, MHRA regulated approval experience Ability to motivate a team with some experience of managing change Logical, with a technical mindset Strong IT skills with the ability to manipulate Excel data Superior time management skills and ability to work under own initiative Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of site organisation.
