Home Manager (Registered) An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an extremely forward thinking Children’s Home as a Registered Manager. Our Client has a reputation for putting the needs of the children in their care first – every time. The children and young people who live in my Client’s homes are encouraged to be the best they can be, they feel valued and through acquiring new skills are able to take their rightful place in society. Home Manager Key Responsibilities To be registered with OFSTED as the Registered Manager for the home as specified in the Children’s Home Regulations 2001 and fulfilling the obligations set out in the National Minimum Standards for Children’s Homes 2002 Managing all operational aspects of the home Working in accordance with relevant codes of practice and governing legalisation Ensuring effective administration and control of budgets Promoting Team development and effectiveness Carrying out the role of Designated Safeguarding Officer Implementing, developing and monitoring all appropriate polices relating to residential care Home Manager Key Skills: Leadership Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Management Flexibility Compassion Paterson Health & Social Care is an employment agency/employment business (as defined by the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003) and is acting on behalf of its client in relation to this vacancy.
