Accounts Clerk Responsibilities: Provide exemplary service to internal and external customers/clients To identify and communicate any issues/barriers affecting realisation of potential business or opportunities for improvements to your manager, with suggestions for resolution where possible. To utilise company systems to facilitate effective communications: e-mail, telephone and fax. To be familiar with the Staff Guide, Management Philosophy and Leadership Philosophy and live the Company Values. Be aware and understand the company's policies. To carry out any reasonable tasks in accordance with your position, aiming to add value. To operate to company and agreed procedures on document handling and other relevant data sheets. Abide by the principals and practices of equal opportunities as laid down in the company Equal Opportunities Policy. To operate with high integrity at all times. Ensure all operational procedures, safe working practices and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to. Be familiar with and adhere to the below company policies and procedures :- Employee Handbook Driving for Work Policy and Handbook Quality Environmental Health and Safety Handbook and associated procedures Comply with risk assessments and method statements Always use the PPE specified in risk assessments and method statements Comply with customer site rules and security procedures as required Accounts Clerk Requirements: Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or Administrative role Experience/knowledge of CIS (Advantageous) Proven experience of high volume invoice and data processing Knowledge of "Integrity" system would be advantageous Strong customer service skills Methodical approach and able to meet deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collate data and format reports as required Excellent time management and organisational skills Must be a team player but able to work independently Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships Professional manner with strong command of the English language Ability to work without supervision; use own initiative and solve problems Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail with a methodical approach Works well under pressure with ability to prioritise workload, multitask and deliver to deadlines 5 GCSE's or equivalent at Grade C or above (to include English and Maths) Microsoft Office Skills particularly Excel Experience in the CIS sector (Essential) Accounts Clerk Benefits: 25 days holiday Access to employee benefits portal Access to healthcare cash plan If you think that you are suitable for this Accounts Clerk role, please apply now
