Overview
Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a leading and highly progressive firm of Accountants in Preston who are seeking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their team. This is a broad role, encompassing an equal split of Accounts & Audit work in various sectors whilst working with an impressive portfolio of clients from a range of industries and sectors. The successful individual will be responsible for leading external audits from planning to completion, the preparation and review of statutory accounts and leading teams of junior staff on site whilst working closely with Senior Management and the Partners. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the audit process from planning & fieldwork through to completion Preparing individual and group statutory accounts under UK GAAP, including FRS102. Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives. Control the audit in relation to timescales, budgets and risk management procedure Corporate tax computations Supervising & developing more junior members of staff Dealing with ad hoc client queries Skills: ACA / ACCA Qualified ACCA/ ACA Finalist/ Part Qualified also considered Experience of leading audits from planning to completion Experience of CCH or Cloud Based Accounting Software would be beneficial For more information on this role, please contact Dan Watson at Taylor Rose Recruitment
