Overview
We are looking for Machine Operative to operate automatic packing production lines (machines) ensuring the product safety, quality volume and hygiene targets are achieved on a daily basis.Lead and support the team working on the line as required. Main responsibilities: - set the machine to production recipes - prepare raw materials for production - replenish packaging to the production line during the shift including the stacking of boxes or consumable items like glue and labels etc - replace films and replenish on line during production - complete and maintain correct documentation for each product run - manual handling including the stacking of finished goods - resolve machine stoppages promptly - work as a part of a team - maintain health and safety and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times Requirements: - Experience of working within the food sector - Experience of plant or machine operations Knowledge: - A Certificate in basic food hygiene - Safe manual handling practices If you have all above and able to use your own initiative please apply.
