Overview
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated fire engineer and looking for your next long term opportunity to join a company that will develop you not only as an individual but as a professional? We have a brilliant role available for a fire engineer based in Glasgow, for an international consultancy, that will pave the way for vast array of fantastic opportunities. This also has the potential to be a home based role, and will give you the chance to travel across the country, working on some of the biggest projects in the UK, with a strong team behind you helping with your development. This will be a client facing role, meaning you should have brilliant business development skills, as well as confidence in your design side of engineering. You will be expected to: Provide strategic support and assist in achieving the financial and business objectives for the Consultancy division Technical analyses and calculations Drawing review Preparation of draft reports Liaison with clients and others within design team Liaison with statutory authorities to gain approval to the design (where necessary) Use and development of computer models Site surveys and inspections About you: Engineering or mathematics degree Fire Safety experience Ability to provide strategic development of the division Ability to identify areas in which the division can improve Self-motivated professional with the commitment, drive and initiative to successfully execute targets assigned in line with business objectives A confident approach with the ability to foster a team and deal with others at all levels Excellent communications skills are required for this role.
