Overview
Backend Developer (PHP/NodeJS) Avanti Recruitment is currently partnering with a rapidly growing tech start up in the ecommerce industry that are set to disrupt how customers book interactive experiences across global territories. As a Back End Developer you will be responsible for building their core platform and web applications using modern technology whilst working alongside the CTO to architect their product offering. Their tech stack includes: PHP, Laravel/Slim, JavaScript, NodeJS, GraphQL, MongoDB and AWS. (They use ReactJS for their frontend.) The company are going through a rapid period of growth so it’s an excellent time to join them. They have already conquered Europe but they are now looking to go International Everyone who works for the company are really passionate about the product so their environment is second to none They really look after their staff and have a fantastic office space in Manchester City Centre with games room and drinks fridge as well as offering training to get you up to speed and working with bleeding edge technology Responsibilities; Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable and reliable code Building complex Microservices and API’s Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability Working on enterprise back end projects whilst collaborating with their Front End Developers and UX team Essential skills; Experience building enterprise web applications Object Oriented Programming PHP Laravel / Slim JavaScript NodeJS Desirable skills; ReactJS GraphQL AWS The company have created an excellent working culture and offer a great work life balance They have a really talented IT team made up of Developers, Testers and UXers.
