Accounts Assistant - Part Time - Up to £22,000 - Witney Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen within a well-established company based in Standlake (Witney) for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. You will be reporting into the Central Financial Controller. Your new role You will be responsible for but not limited to; Ensuring all invoices and staff expenses received are correctly authorised, analysed, coded and accurately entered, Processing the company credit card expenses, reconciling monthly and accruing costs as required to assist with the month end accounts, Preparing and collating weekly BAC's payment runs, Raising and processing purchase orders, Ensuring finance documentation is filed, scanned or disposed of as appropriate to help ensure the whole team can function efficiently and effectively, Carrying out supplier statement reconciliations, Daily management of the Central Accounts Payable mailbox and incoming post, Supporting the team in recharging costs around the business and ensuring intercompany balances are agreed, Dealing with queries from Suppliers and other group divisions on recharges and ad-hoc. What you'll need to succeed You will need to either have previous experience in a similar role OR they will consider no/little experience and are willing to train someone up who may be looking to get into Finance / had a gap in working. AAT studier is desirable however not essential. Good communication is key along with being a hands-on team player. You will need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and take on new challenges.
