QUALITY ENGINEER Role: Quality Engineer Location: Cheltenham Employment: 12 Month FTC Industry: Aerospace, Engineering Salary: Negotiable This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Quality Engineer to join a top tier organisation at a busy and evolving time. You will be required to work closely with suplier and internal production to ensure all quality standards are being met and work hard to resolve any issues arising. Duties Plan and carry out a schedule of audits and assessments Manage completion and effectiveness of Corrective and Preventative measures Support of any investigations arising from Quality issues Support work with root cause analysis and solutions to prevent re-occurrence Support of external Quality audits, assessments and visits by customers and authorities Ensuring that regular shop floor checks are performed Support resolution of quality issues identified Develop and support improvement culture e.g. process mapping, lean, etc Assist with the maintenance of company approvals e.g. EASA, FAR, ISO, etc. Assist with the generation of Quality Plans and proposals Background Aerospace or Electronics industry Experience Understanding of aerospace quality standards (e.g. AS9100, EASA Part 21, Part 145 etc) Trained Quality Auditor Knowledge of manufacturing environment and working with a supply chain For more information regarding this role please call Lee Powell on or to make an application send a CV.
