WR Fundraising Recruitment is delighted to be working with a local charity specialising in vocational training and work placements for service users receiving mental health support to gain greater confidence and wellbeing, establish a routine, be part of a community and gain a sense of achievement and increased employability In a newly created role, we are looking to recruit a Social Enterprise Business Manager to take responsibility for the growth and further success of vocational programmes in the local area while developing further strategies to diversify and create new enterprising projects for the charity’s service users. Social Enterprise Business Manager Guildford, Surrey Permanent, Full Time £35,000 - £40,000 on experience Duties to include: Support the ongoing development of our two existing social enterprises Ensure that client support within each social enterprise is creating a positive impact develop social enterprises that support the needs of the clients Put in place and drive systems and procedures to manage the day- to-day operations of each social enterprise Explore opportunities to develop new social enterprise concepts around 'work’ activity which would be of have therapeutic/wellbeing benefit to clients and be commercially viable. Develop and execute targeted marketing activities to maintain a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities Be a member of the senior management team and will be the de facto deputy to the CEO. Ideal candidates would have: Experience running a commercial, charity or social enterprise operation Ability to create and executing business plans Experience of leading individuals and teams This is a great opportunity to join a senior management team of an aspiring charity. We’re looking for an experienced manager with solid commercial acumen. You may have been a project manager / operations manager / fundraising manager / programme manager / business owner / business development manager / service delivery manager or have worked in a similar social enterprise setting.
