Financial Controller

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established transport and distribution company based in Barnsley. This team are looking to bring in an experienced qualified Financial Controller to drive the finance team forward during their next expansion phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Daily, Weekly and Monthly report preparation Annual budget preparation and forecasting Managing and developing the finance team Implementing financial controls Partnering with the managers across the business to deliver business results Oversee the balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts Consolidating reports for the group Ideally you will have: ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified (QBE may be considered) Experience in a similar position Ability to build strong relationships with non-finance colleagues Degree qualified is preferred, but not essential Staff management experience A positive attitude towards change Be proactive in the workplace This role has great opportunity for further progression within the company, with great visibility to the Head of Finance role or an external step up.
