Estates Managers (NHS Band 8)

Estates Managers (NHS Band 8) Location: Swindon Temporary: Expected to last 6 months with possible extension Hours per week : 37.5 hours per week 08:30 - 17:00 - Mon-Fri Salary: £28.00 (Umbrella) or £24.00 per hour (PAYE) Job duties: Review current Hard & Soft FM contracts and update / strengthen as required. Review current water management arrangements (flushing, sampling, risk assessments) and update / strengthen as required. Review current fire risk assessments and update / strengthen as required. Oversee Premises Improvement programme of works (currently valued at over £172K). Review lease arrangements. Support the wider Estates team in the implementation of policy and procedure to align with the Trust’s Estate standards. Previous experience: Hard FM operational background with management of PPM programmes Experience scoping out risks associated with Property & Estates matters Compiling Employers Requirements documentation Procurement of Hard & Soft FM contracts with support from central procurement team Use of Microsoft Office at advanced level Working knowledge of HTMs, HBNs and current building regulations Highly motivated and able to work independently
