Client Management Accountant (Practice)

Our client is a large independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Hitchin. They are well established and have a client base made up of mainly local, Hertfordshire, based clients with some in central London. They have a good work life balance and employ a core hours scheme which people can work around. They are looking for a management accountant to look after a portfolio of clients. The role will be, mainly, office based with something like 40% of the time visiting clients. Although the majority of the role will be producing monthly and/or quarterly management accounts, there will also be variety in the role in the form of projects. This may be assisting clients with assessing accountancy software, training on accountancy packages, reviewing internal financial controls, etc. It is not necessary to have experience of working with an accountancy practice environment; however, it would be an advantage. To be successful in this role you will need to have: - Experience of producing management accounts Strong clients/interpersonal skills Excellent written and spoken English Strong IT skills/knowledge If you have relevant experience and like dealing with people, this could very much be the job for you.
