Overview
Randstad are recruiting for a Production Planning Leader for its Engineering client based on the outskirts of Bristol. The Role: Lead and organize activities within production control, stores, goods in, part marking and dispatch areas of operations Experience: 5 years of manufacturing experience in similar role. Understanding and experience of Master Production Schedule and Capacity Planning. Advanced user of Excel, SQL, Office 365 tools. Responsibilities: Weekly and Monthly production delivery against plan. Service levels maintained at agreed levels for Production Control, Part Marking, SubCon and Final Dispatch activities. Stock maintained at agreed levels. Team development. Own the team's skills matrix and implement training plan for flexibility. Complete annual appraisals for all team members. Support, train and Influence the team to deliver high service levels. Responsible for SOP adherence and No fault forward. Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions of non conformances reported within area of responsibility.
