Due to business growth they have a fantastic opportunity for a career driven purchasing professional or someone who has a real passion to build a career within the purchasing and supply chain of a growing company. In this role the right individual will have a clear path for progression and will also be support with their CIPS studies to become a Chartered Purchasing professional Key duties may include - Raising purchase orders and placing with suppliers Forecasting stock, raising purchase order for stock items to avoid stock outs Booking in purchase orders and flagging any discrepancies with suppliers Placing orders for consumables used in the manufacturing process Sourcing new suppliers, ensuring best value for money is achieved Allocating stock to sales orders through sage Advising sales team and production supervisors with any delivery delays Advising IT on new products codes to be set up on the system, including part number, description, cost and discounts received Expediting open purchase orders to ensure delivery is on time and in full Resolve supplier invoice queries before month end
