Newly Qualified HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Recruitment is recruiting for a number of Class 1 HGV drivers to join our client’s new site in Hemel Hempstead. The HGV Class 1 drivers will carry out shop deliveries. Routes may vary daily and therefore successful applicants will need to be flexible in work and hours of work the products are loaded on cages but there is also manual work involved which will require handballing. Benefits for HGV Class 1 Driver: - Weekly pay - 30 minutes break paid - Minimum 40 hours guaranteed - Training provided - Overtime available and paid at a time and a half - 3 weeks shift pattern with NO Sunday work - 5 shifts per week - No minimum experience required - Permanent role with holiday paid and other benefits Responsibilities for HGV 1 / Class 1 Driver: - Shop Deliveries - Approx. 8-9 drops (day shift) - Saturday work only - Start times between 04:00 – 06:00 AM and also 12:00 – 13:00 PM - North London deliveries involved - Drugs and alcohol test required Requirements for HGV 1 Driver: - Full UK License for HGV Class 1 / cat CE / cat CE - All Newly Qualified HGV Class 1 Drivers are welcome to apply - CPC holder - Digi Card holder - No more than 6 points on the licence - No DD / DR10/ IN10 Salary for HGV 1 Driver: - Standard £13.84/per hour - Overtime around £18/per hour This is an excellent opportunity so please send us an updated CV and we will be in touch shortly
