FORKLIFT/PRODUCTION OPERATIVE PLYMOUTH £9.18 - £13.77 PER HOUR WEDNESDAY - SATURDAY Our client is looking to recruit an on-going temporary FLT Driver (Counterbalance)/Production Operative for an immediate start to work at their busy Plant based in Plymouth. THE ROLE Applicants will be working in an industrial setting, working on a line, filling gas bottles following set work instructions and health and safety procedures. You will be required to carry out safety checks before and after filling. You will also be required to drive the forklift truck to load and offload trailers and pallets. This role involves repetitive manual handling tasks and is based outside, under shelter, in all weathers. Successful candidates will rotate weekly between working on the production line and the Forklift Truck. ABOUT YOU Applicants must hold a valid counterbalance licence and full driving licence (car). Candidates will also preferably have experience of working in a production environment, although full training will be provided. You will have good numeric and communication skills. You will also be able to follow verbal instructions, use your own initiative and have the ability to adhere to strict safety rules in a responsible manner.
