Overview
Computer Science Teacher Subject Lead Newham TLTP are currently working with an 'Good' Secondary school with a Sixth form based in Newham that are recruiting for a Subject Lead for Computer Science & ICT to join them in from September on a permanent basis. As the new Computer Science Teacher your duties will include but will not be limited to the following; As the new Subject Lead for Computer Science & ICT you will be tasked with planning, delivering and marking work for key stage 3, key stage 4 and key stage 5 students You will be required to communicate on a regular basis with parents and carers on their children's progress within your class You will be line managing all other teachers within the Computer Science & ICT department You will be required to use a variety of learning resources to help improve your lessons and teaching As Subject Lead for Computer Science & ICT you will be required to create and develop the History curriculum The successful Computer Science Teacher will have the following Qualifications/Experience; You must have a Computer Science related degree with a relevant teaching qualification ie. PGCE, QTS You must have at least 2 years teaching experience You must have strong behaviour management As a teacher working with children you will need a recent Enhanced DBS check If you are currently looking for a new role and feel this role would be a good fit for you please apply with an up to date CV.
