Overview
This an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to prepare indirect Tax/VAT for an industry known business based in South Birmingham, on a 3 months ongoing contract. Location: South Birmingham Contract length: 3 months temporary ongoing Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours a week (9-5) Rate: £250-£350 per day (inside IR35) Please note, ideally you will be a qualified finance professional either ACCA, ACA or CIMA. Key Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Accountant (VAT) Preparation indirect tax returns and payments, including VAT and PSA Providing advice and guidance across the business Produce certain accounts to UK GAAP and IFRS requirements in an accurate, compliant and timely manner Working with colleagues in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure that queries are resolved and month-end close is controlled Posting journals and resolving questions raised by divisional teams Preparing working documents; Accurately loading Divisional figures into the Group Assisting with the preparation and submission of Financial Reporting Packs for the interim and full year accounts.
