Overview
A company in the industrial sector is looking for a Spanish speaking Financial Controller to manage the local and group financial accounting and reporting as well as the internal control and managing external relationships with auditors and tax compliance. Also be able to assist with the company's financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities. Main responsibilities: Responsible for month end close and balance sheet account management Responsible for group financial reporting and local tax preparation Provide accounting and tax advice, ensuring compliance Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets, Opex and Capex management, including forecasts Direct and indirect tax Manage third party accounting and tax compliance providers Manage external auditors Required experience Fluency in Spanish both written and spoken Knowledge of Portuguese a bonus Degree educated Qualified/Part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA GAAP and IFRS Accounting Standards SOX controls and tax compliance This is an exciting permanent opportunity beginning immediately.
