The Role: Working on our rail contract you will be employed to carry out the role of Customer Service Agent (Chocking). This role involves a degree of fitness, working as part of a team, chocks need to be removed and replaced under the wheels of large HGV wagons to ensure the safety of the vehicles before their journey through the tunnel Key Roles & Responsibilities: Removal of Chocks Replacing Chocks To report faults and if possible perform corrective actions, and otherwise respond and deal with any anomaly noticed or reported. To complete incident/accident reports. Applicants must have: The individual must also be able to demonstrate the following: Good timekeeping & attendance Excellent Team Spirit Working to strict time scales Additional Information: In accordance with the Working Time Regulations Act 1998 these roles are open to individuals aged 18 years and over at the time of taking up appointment due to shift working being required. Full Training will be provided and paid for when you start with us Summary Details Job Title: Customer Service Agent (Chocking) Pay Rate: £8.58 per hour Hours: Average, 40 hours per week Shift Plan: Early | Lates | Nights Upon successful interview, you would be required to satisfy the companies vetting standards / procedures.
