Overview
Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with our client to recruit a Process Engineer to join their site in Northumberland. The role is working for a global, stable organisation with a strong leadership team. The focus for Process Engineers is to work on new product introduction projects to the contract manufacturing plant. The plant is devoted to the development, scale up and manufacturer of pharmaceutical ingredients. Reporting to the Engineering Technical Manager, key duties and responsibilities include: New product introductions and scale ups Established product turnarounds Process optimisation and troubleshooting Project management Process design Qualifications: Honours degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline Knowledge of chemical process plant and equipment Experience of process design, commissioning and production support Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice and an awareness of the regulations for Health, Safety & Environmental control as they apply to engineering activities. Technical problem solving skills within a process plant environment.
