Laboratory Technician; Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire; £20-22K A leading manufacturer and merchant of a range of specialist additives that are used widely within the ceramics, coatings, paint and plastics industries is recruiting. This organisation is today one of the world leaders within it’s sector and manufactures in 2 continents; they are looking to strengthen their Laboratory team in Stoke on Trent, with the appointment of a Laboratory Technician. This is a dual role which will involve: - To competently perform day to day analysis of raw materials, part manufactured and finished compound products. - Regularly monitoring Workplace and Environmental protection systems. - Personal Dust Monitoring for all production Personnel - Completion of all relevant QA paperwork. Applicants should have a higher level qualification in Chemistry or a similar subject, i.e. Degree, HNC/HND or A-level, the ability to work effectively in a team, good skills with MS Office and an ambitious character.
