Overview
Plumbers /Meter Installers - North East 1 x Weardale 1 x Teesdale / Teesside 1 x South Tyneside 1 x Tyneside / North Tyneside Northumbrian Water are looking for reliable, hard working and customer-focused plumbers to join their team. 6 months minimum Full Time - 45 hours per week - Mon - Fri (0730 - 1700hrs) Pay rate up to £12.30 per hour depending on experience Opportunity for overtime subject to individual performance and available work Van provided for work use and commute - equipment and materials provided Full training and support provided On a daily basis you will; · Attend appointments with North East customers to carry out water pipework surveys at the property · Identify and agree with the customer the most suitable location to install the meter in accordance with NWL's meter location policy · Fit internal water meters during the appointment · Carry out water meter exchanges · Undertake fault finding on to resolve low water pressure / blockages About you · You must be driven to meet weekly performance targets, carry out your work to a consistently high standard and deliver exceptional customer service · You must have a full clean driving licence · You will have a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 plumbing qualification · You must be happy to travel around the north east if needed · You will be able and willing to participate in a standby rota if required (frequency no less that one in every 9 days) · You must be comfortable with using a smart phone / toughbook · A DBS check will be undertaken If you feel you would be suitable for one of these roles please contact: Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
