Front End Web Developer - Cambridge Do you want to work on software projects that will make a difference in medical science? Do you like the idea of your work making a wider impact for the better to the whole world? If the answer to this is Yes, then this could be the role for you. My client a leading medical research technology company is on the lookout for a Front End Web Developer with strong JavaScript programming, ideally AngularJS or ReactJS experience. It's a brand new role due to expansion and they can offer flexible working. They work on some exciting projects within both the charity and healthcare industry and moving towards to the latest tech stack. This JavaScript based Front End Developer based role involves developing new features, for a variety of web & desktop applications and extensions which integrate with several applications and communicate with their backend API. Essential experience: JavaScript, HTML, CSS CSS pre-processor (SASS) At least one modern JavaScript front-end framework (Angular, React, Node) Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues - Knowledge of automation/workflow tools (Gulp, Webpack) Experience with Chrome developer Tools and debugging techniques Experience within an Agile environment. Desirables: Experience with continuous integration and versioning control tools. At least one server-side templating system (eg., Mustache, Apache Velocity) Knowledge of current software architectural trends and practices Front-end test automation Native/hybrid mobile development (iOS, Android, Ionic/Cordova, React Native) The applications are a mix of website, browser plugins, desktop applications, mobile apps, and plugins, so there is plenty of new development and lots of dynamic projects for 2019.
