Technical Writer - Contract Are you a Technical Writer with a continued passion for engineering? Do you want to be at the heart of the engineering community, producing prototypes for an API that has an untold amount of uses? Then this is the role for you You'll be working for a rapidly growing organisation whose real-time APIs are powering an ever-more diverse portfolio of customers from sports to travel and actual engineering tools as well. As Technical Writer, you'll work closely with their Technical Evangelist team, meaning you'll be at all of the best shown in engineering. Day-to-day, there's no end to the variation of tasks you'll accomplish as Technical Writer, from producing code to improve sites like Github, through to building out prototype integrations and representing the business at engineering expos. Given the complex nature of the role, you'll be able to bring experience working with Javascript to a good level, and you'll have a knowledge of cloud-based software (would be awesome if you had a passion for real-time APIs, but if you don't already you will when you join) The business is built on collaboration and you'll play a pivotal role in this. As Technical Writer, you'll work across the evangelism team, the product and engineering functions as well as customer success - so uyou don't need to worry about being shunted into a back room.
