Overview
A whole team of Data Engineers (from junior to senior) are being recruiting for an AI Software & Consulting business based in Telford / Birmingham. The role is to create the new data storage capabilities, data pipelines and data warehousing for customers of their AI solution. Key for this role is that you have hands on knowledge of the SQL, Python for data ingestion and building data pipelines. Often the team are working off big data system (Cloudera, Hadoop etc) so experience with would be advantageous. The role will involve data modelling, building data structures and ETL processes as a given. You will get to play with large scale data sets, including both structured and unstructured data. All data engineers will have the opportunity to pick up new tools and tech. Main Responsibilities : - Ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a non-technical manner - To be proficient in designing efficient and robust ETL workflows / data pipelines - Professional experience with Python or other languages - Experience across a range of ETL tools, databases, analytical tools and cloud platforms.
