Overview

An independent mortgage and protection insurance advisory service are looking to recruit a Protection Consultant to join the fast growing team. They are the world's largest privately owned global real estate agency and consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a holistic service to all potential Finance clients based on advice and recommendation and will demonstrate that the client is central to the success of the business. As the business is regulated by the FCA the person will be held will be accountable for their responsibilities in giving advice and recommending products. The role of the Protection Consultant will include: Making contact with all opportunities referred from the Finance mortgage team Meeting the objectives and targets set out in the annual business plan, agreed with line manager and business To complete a full Fact-Find on the CRM system to establish the client's current finances and future needs and preference, which demonstrates Knowing Your Client (KYC) and that the client is central to the advice and recommendation Explain the service clearly to a potential Finance client from the outset, explaining the service we provide and our regulatory status as per the terms of business Provide the client with all required documentation as stated in the sales process Collecting and authenticating all documents required to support the advice and recommendation before submitting an application to a provider Ensuring that you follow the Finance protection policy and procedure from initial client contact to placing policy on risk All clients are verified and certified before submitting business to protection providers Attend weekly sales team meeting Attend monthly/Quarterly results meeting and present results in all targeted areas to your Sales Manager Support additional income streams Embrace company values and promote them effectively alongside the brand. Submitting a fully completed case on the CRM system with supporting email correspondence and documents to admin within 3 working of submitting and a fully completed consultant check list Ensuring all client communication is documented on the CRM system to provide full audit trail Accountability: The advice and recommendation Writing and sending thorough Demands & Needs and letters to all clients before submitting applications All documentation to support the advice and recommendation Adhere to the AML policy and report any potential risk to the Compliance officer Adhere to the Data protection policy, which means maintaining a clear desk policy Ensure all remedial action are completed within 7 days All notes and documentation are added to the company CRM system Delivering to your annual business plan Any regulatory breach is reported to compliance Maintain product and industry knowledge to remain competent in the industry Protection: Terms of business Specific Illustration Key Feature Document Fact find completed Signed declaration by both clients Demands & Needs letter sent to all clients within 3 days of submitting to provider or the day the policy is placed on risk If this sounds like a position that you would be interested in then apply now.
