Infrastructure/Platform Services Engineer - Milton Keynes- £55k My Client, a retail company based in and around Milton Keynes is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer- Team Lead who is passionate about tech and can help with the ongoing development and support of the company infrastructure including on premise and the new cloud infrastructure. Ideally looking for someone who if there is an issues can fix it and if there is a new technology project to be taken on, someone who can look after it from start to finish. Is that you?? Responsibilities: Build and Support both the on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including the company's eCommerce applications and supporting systems Research and evaluate new technologies to increase the performance and security of the IT Infrastructure Troubleshoot and resolve issues with occur within the company Infrastructure as required Monitor, support and maintain the company infrastructure in accordance with the Incident, Major Incident and Problem Management processes with a focus on driving down repeat tickets Deliver new project requirements for the company IT Infrastructure Research and evaluate new technologies to increase the performance and security of the IT Infrastructure Be at ease within a DevOps culture and have experience of working in multi-functional teams Good understanding of ITIL Experience/understanding of cloud technologies Strong understanding of Powershell and Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Strong knowledge with at least 4 of the following technologies would be advantageous but not essential.
