Do you want to work for a thriving nursery? My client is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Preschool Room Leader to join there well established Nursery, working with a dedicated team in a caring, family friendly environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards the leadership of a happy Nursery where they focus on encouraging children to be children, learning through fun and engaging play. Preschool Room Leader Duties and Responsibilities: Over viewing planning sheets and record keeping of all the staff in your room Ensuring routines are being followed and run smoothly Ensuring new decisions are taken on board and maintained in the room at all times Ensuring all staff in the room has all information Ensuring that all relevant handovers happen between rooms Ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed by all staff Being an excellent role model to the other staff in your room Understanding all policies and procedures of the nursery Manage staff effectively, ensuring ratios are maintained throughout the setting Have a sound knowledge of all the children in the setting and an excellent knowledge of your key children Work in partnership with parents, consulting and sharing information with them about the needs and progress of their children Filling in all the appropriate record keeping for your key child and ensure they are continually up to date Preschool Room Leader Minimum Requirements: Must hold a relevant Level 3 early years qualification in childcare Leadership experience A minimum of one years’ experience working with children aged 0-5 year Paediatric and safe guarding training Closing date: ASAP Contact: Sue at Job Paths 4 U Job Paths 4 U is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
