This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RGN/ RMN/ RNLD) to join a highly reputable healthcare provider in one of their lovely nursing homes in South Shields, Tyne and Wear. This small and specialised service cares for residents with a range of physical and learning disabilities. The home has an experienced and dedicated management team who are committed to delivering high standards of compassionate care to everyone living in the home. The home employs qualified nursing staff and has an onsite physiotherapy unit, activities centre and sensory rooms. The staff team are experienced and trained in supporting individuals with diabetes, epilepsy and Gastrostomy tube feeding. Person Specification: Our client is looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD) to join their service in South Shields, Tyne and Wear. All candidates must have a valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. Experience of working with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities is strongly desirable, although we are happy to consider applications from newly-qualified nurses. Nurses must have good communication skills, a hard-working nature and the willingness to get stuck in.
