Overview
Blackwaters is currently working with a global IT & communications business who are looking for a newly qualified Financial Accountant to join their growing finance department. You will also be responsible for the external audit and other financial reporting duties. You will have experience in implementing change and processes that have impacted a company as a whole and be well versed with IFRS reporting standards. Key Responsibilities- Ensuring smooth running of the external audit process Preparation of annual and half yearly financial statements Prepare group quarterly group VAT return Responsibility for all tax compliance and co-coordinating with external tax adviser Assisting with the preparation of the year end financial accounts Ownership of various accounting and reporting processes which deliver financial reports Preparing and maintaining account reconciliations Provide analytical support to the Finance Accountant Analyse high volumes of data Preparation of journal entries Build strong working relationships with internal and external stake holders Assisting with preparation of month end You will be a ACCA,ACA,CIMA newly qualified accountant with experience in technical financial accounting. The ideal candidate will be from a practice background with a year working within industry.
