Overview
Make a difference every day – Become a Live In Care Assistant We are currently looking for you to join our company as a live in care worker to support a young female with an acquired brain injury to remain independent in their own home in the Market Harborough area (LE16) Rates of pay start at £520 per working week. Full training & support is provided. Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential. This package has an ongoing live in Rota based on Five weeks of continuous live in. You would then have up to four weeks off from this package but can acquire suitable additional work within this four week period. Once those four weeks are up you will return to work for five weeks. A live in care role requires you to stay and live within the client’s home for your agreed Rota. You will be provided your own suitable and private room and have adequate breaks each day. You may be required to provide your own food. Any further questions please discuss this with the recruitment team. You will be required to travel to Leicester for your training. Job role and duties will include: Manual handling Medication Personal care Nutrition/Cooking Communication and Record keeping Domestic duties Assisting to attend social activities/ appointments Before you are assigned work you are required to hold a valid DBS to file and link to the update service.
