COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST - GDPR - EXCITING TECHNOLOGY COMPANY A fantastic opportunity to join this outstanding tech company as a Compliance Specialist. This role requires you to implement, maintain processes and provide guidance around Data Protection compliance LOCATION: Sunbury on thames PACKAGE: £25K - £30K Company Bonus, Pension, Healthcare, Subsidized travel and many more. JOB DESCRIPTION: - Maintain, develop and support the organisation's data protection compliance and understanding across the organisation. - Provide prompt advice and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure new processing activities comply with applicable data protection legislation. - Ensure changes are appropriately managed and apply determined due diligence and safeguards. - Review and maintain data processing records. - Support privacy due diligence of third parties - Support review of applicable data protection policies considering changes in law, regulatory or organisational policy. - Understand data privacy risks and support the conduct of data protection impact assessments - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to respond to requests around data subject rights. - Investigate data breaches and implement corrective actions. The Compliance Team covers multiple subject matters and the role of the Compliance Specialist may also require you to perform and provide support in other aspects of Compliance work ABOUT YOU: For the Compliance Specialist, our client is looking for the following: Experience in dealing with data protection compliance across Europe, including PECR or other EU member state equivalent legislation. Certified GDPR Qualification Experience with risk management - desirable Project management experience - desirable Previous experience with an ISO management system (9001, 27001, 14001, 45001) desirable Good standard of education Must have excellent organisational and time management skills.
