Skills: Solaris, Solaris 11, Solaris Administrator, Solaris 10, Our leading financial services client requires an Expert Solaris Administrator for an initial 3-6 month role to work out of their Coventry site. Key Responsibilities: Installing, upgrading and configuring Solaris 11 on LDOM utilising Ops Center Install and configure Oracle Enterprise Ops Centre for automated provisioning and monitoring Design and implementation of high available cluster on Solaris 11 Patching Solaris 11 using Ops Centre Create, build and testing template to provision Solaris 11 Data Centre migration planning and implementation Regular level 3 support both BAU and project deployment DR implementation and testing Automate Solaris backup and monitoring Hardening Solaris 11 installation and configuration Creation of technical documentation Authentication configuration, management and investigation in secure environment. Experience with good DevOps approach and associated tools e.g. Jenkins and Docker Experience/Knowledge of Oracle and Solaris on M12’s and T7/8’s servers Strong practical experience across Solaris 10 and 11 Create and configure Solaris 11 OVM image on LDOM Provisioning Solaris 11 in form of a template with different SLA and configuration Configure Storage and network in PCI and non-PCI environment Configuring and setup back/restore regime Hardening Solaris 11 to PCI standard Install and configure CommVault Install and configure HSM in high available configuration knowledge and experience of XSCF scripting Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.
