Overview
A fantastic opportunity has become available with an incredible business to join an existing Procurement function. The role of the Procurement Officer will receive training, development and coaching to progress a career within procurement. Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering with this business to recruit a Buyer, Procurement Officer who has a passion for learning and a willingness to develop. The Procurement Officer will join at an exciting time, as the business has invested in their procurement operation to drive commercial change and drive VFM initiatives across the whole spend portfolio. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring procurement professional who works in an existing procurement team and wants to take the next step with having more responsibility. The role will have a coach and mentor in the Procurement Manager. You will be guided through major capex investment projects to the value of £4m, the portfolio of procurement projects includes minor works in refurbishments, trades and labour, professional services and other ad-hoc requirements to modernise the business. Key Responsibilities in this role will include: · Procurement of frameworks · Leading and managing procurement projects · Ensuring that all procurement activity is professional and compliant with UK procurement legislation and EU procurement regulations · Running tender management systems and advertising portals · Compiling specifications, pricing schedules and contract formation · Issuing ITT's · Running Mini-competitions · JCT Contract formation · Compiling Specifications, Pricing Schedules and other Tender Documentation If you want to discuss this position in more detail, please call Carl Walker at Elevation Recruitment Group.
