Overview

One of our clients, a prestigious accountancy practice that we really enjoy working with, is based in the Heart of Surrey and provides high-quality accounting services, planning and advice to a large and varied portfolio of clients focussing on SMBs and high-net worth individuals (HNW). They have over 50 staff, 8 Partners and are one of the area’s most well-established firms. They have entrusted us with finding them a new CTA/ATT/ACCA/ACA qualified Tax Senior to join their growing team. To have the ideal profile for this Tax Senior role, you will be thorough, detail-orientated and have great communication skills. You will have experience of working in an accounting practice and are comfortable with the following: Team player and strong work ethic Identify tax planning opportunities and ensuring Tax compliance, some tax advisory Providing tax advice to clients, working on a portfolio of mostly owner-managed businesses Working with personal and corporate tax clients including high net worth individuals and non-domiciled Supervising junior staff, guiding them and reviewing their work Developing the company’s business activity and contributing to its bottom line Keeping to deadlines and ensuring they are met Assessing sole trader accounts Ensure proper filing of CT returns Trust tax compliance services This is a great opportunity for advancement because as the team’s new CTA/ATT/ACCA/ACA qualified Tax Senior you will also be: Working closely with Senior Management Client facetime Working with a wide variety of clients who are sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, including those with an international presence, property groups, media, IT, catering groups and start-ups About you: Preferably have knowledge of Xero, Excel, QuickBooks and Sage, other accounting systems a plus You will have at least 1-2 years of experience in an Accountancy Practice Tax Senior (CTA/ATT/ACCA/ACA qualified) Epsom £45,000-£50,000 great benefits package including parking, health cover, pension, death in service and flexitime
