Overview

We are looking for a Children’s Support Worker close to the Cambridge area of Cambridgeshire. You would be joining a special Residential Home supporting children and young adults aged 9-19 living with cerebral palsy, autism, brain injuries and degenerative disorders. We can make a difference.” What does the role involve? As their Support Worker you will provide the highest standard of care for the young people including assisting them to get ready for bed in the evening and encourage a healthy sleeping pattern. You will regularly check on them during regular intervals and ensure their safety and well-being. You will also help in quieter periods with light housekeeping duties such as keeping the home tidy. In the morning, you will help the young people get up and get ready for their day. £8.41 - £9.39 per hour DOE and qualifications; Full time hours, 39 hours per week; Shift times - 8.45pm-8:15am, 4-week rota Additional £2,730 per annum on top of salary for doing nights; Generous benefits package, including high street discounts and childcare vouchers. It is extremely desirable that you have experience working with children/young adults with learning/physical disabilities, mental health conditions or brain injuries, but not essential.
