Overview
We are working alongside our client, an established residential childcare service based in the North-West, to recruit experienced Residential Care Practitioners based in a EBD home in Prescot Salary: £8.50-£9/hour Hours: 35 hours/week – working to a shift pattern (Including waking nights) Location: Prescot You will be working within a Residential Home that provides a safe, consistent and therapeutic environment for young people aged 10-18. You will be working using a CBT approach with the young people. You will be experienced with supporting young people with EBD and other complex needs within a residential setting. Requirements: · Level 3 Children and Young People qualification or working towards · 2 years’ experience working within a support environment with Children, Young People and Families. · Working knowledge of issues within children's social work including childcare legislation. · Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with young people and professionals · Enthusiastic in your approach to tough challenges. · Assertive in difficult situations · Able to remain calm under pressure. · A strong communicator with great interpersonal skills.
