Overview
The Retreat Care Home is known for its compassionate and caring staff. We are looking for friendly, reliable people to assist our residents so that they can live life to the full in the comfort of our safe and well-maintained home. Part time and full time positions available. shifts will run from 7pm -7am, 7am-7pm, 7am-1pm and 1pm- 7pm and will include working alternate weekends. Staff benefits include: - Flexible 6 or 12 hour shifts - Full and part time work available - Weekly pay - Free Care Certificate training with ongoing in house training and development - Cooked meals provided whilst on shift for a small donation - Paid breaks Duties: - Provide clients personal hygiene by giving baths/strip washes, help with toileting. -Provide for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding clients as necessary; ambulating, turning and positioning clients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals. - Maintain clients stability by checking vital signs and body mass; testing urine; recording input and output information. -Provide client comfort by utilising resources and materials; transporting clients; answering call bells and requests; reporting observations of the clients to the care manager. -Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records. - Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures. - Protect organisations values by keeping client information confidential.
