Residential Care Worker SCE Group Residential Care Worker – Kettering, NN15 Duration: Waking Night Salary: From £9 per hour SCE Group are looking for experienced Residential Care Workers to support children and adults with learning disabilities. The Job Role: · Providing direct care to adults and children involving, washing, assistance with dressing, help with mobility and support with food and fluid intake. · To promote our Clients philosophy of creating a family style home. · Being aware and participating in the development of Care Plans and having full awareness of any specialist support needs. · Contribute to placement planning, participating in reviews and other meetings when required. · Providing ongoing support for the residents, their family and the Care Services Team. · To listen to and talk to children and adults, and to observe their behaviour and record any significant features. The Job Requirements · Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally. · 1 year experience working with children and adults with learning disabilities and autism in a support setting. · Experience with challenging behaviours and experience of use of physical intervention. · Level 3 in Health and Social care is desirable.
