Healthcare Assistant (Days) – Harrogate Permanent – Full Time – 39 hours per week Our Client based in Harrogate, provide Nursing and Dementia care for approximately 60 service users within its large, luxury purpose built facility. The service offers both short and long-term placements for residents, and specialises in providing innovative dementia care. They provide exceptional care to their residents, and are currently seeking to strengthen their team by welcoming a new Healthcare Assistant to work a rolling rota of night shifts full time on a permanent basis for a total of 39 hours per week. The successful applicant will have proven paid experience in a similar role. You will play a pivotal role in providing excellent support and care for clients, and your daily tasks as a Healthcare Assistant will include assisting service users with personal care, updating care plans accurately, daily activities and striving to enhance all resident’s independence and quality of life. Responsibilities and requirements (Inclusive of but not limited to): · Providing high levels of care and support appropriate to the general needs of the residents as outlined in their care plans · Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all residents in accordance with safeguarding · Providing or contributing to reports and reviews relating to individual residents · Providing personal care such as support with showering and dressing · Supporting people with eating and drinking · Monitoring individuals’ conditions by taking their temperature, pulse, respiration and weight, and possibly helping with medication.
