We have two opportunities within our highly effective Customer Services department in our head office depot in Slough. The role This is a key role, focusing on providing effective, timely and high-quality services to all our customers. You will handle and resolve a wide range of customer services issues mainly via inbound calls, but also through emails, using your excellent judgement and communication skills and your passion for excellent service. Not only that, but you will seek to implement improvements to communication and processes to raise standards even further. You’ll also manage a range of financial responsibilities including account payments, credit requests and petty cash, so you’ll need a high degree of financial organisation and accuracy. And your proactive and collaborative nature will ensure you can take on and resolve any other administration requirements that arise. The role will cover 40 hours per week, working 9:30am to 5pm and 10:30am to 7pm on a rotational basis, covering Monday to Friday working with occasional Saturday working (realistically 1 in 8 Saturdays). A bit about you You must be a skilled and natural customer service advocate with a strong understanding of its importance. You must have a friendly and professional telephone manner as the majority of your customer contact will be on the telephone. Experience of inbound calls will be preferred. Success in this role will utilise all your influence and impact with colleague’s right across the depot, to ensure a shared commitment to the highest standards of customer service.
