Roles: Advanced Nurse Practitioner Location: Reading Salary: Up to £50,000 Working pattern: Full or Part time Overview Our client offers a thriving working environment and continual professional development. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner you will be using your Independent prescribing skills in this challenging environment. The Walk in Centre caters for a cross section of patients who attend with a variety of symptoms. You can show your three years of direct Accident and Emergency experience. It would a plus if you already have experience of using the Adastra clinical system. You will be assessing the needs of both adults and children covering minor injuries and illness. Diagnosis and when necessary offering clinical treatments are daily tasks, prioritising the caseload and managing patients is essential. As a registered nurse you will have continual professional assessment. You will report to the Service Manager and assist in the training program. Skills and capabilities must include Professional NMC Registration Extended/independent prescribing qualification Accredited A&E or minor illness qualification Evidence of continuous personal development Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Practitioner qualification/ first contact practitioner (or willing to work towards) Minimum of 3 years' experience in primary care, A&E or minor injuries unit. Experience in working as an autonomous practitioner. This a unique opportunity to work in private setting within the NHS.
