Location: The Acorns - Burnley Job title : Senior Residential Support Worker (SRSW) Salary: £25,700 - £27,500 (Including 8 'sleepins’ per month) Hours: 37 hours plus sleeps The salary quoted above is including 8 sleep in shifts per month, paid at a rate of £45 per sleep. Hexagon Care Services are seeking to appoint a Senior Residential Support Worker for an established children’s residential in the Burnley area that have provision for mixed gender emotional and behavior difficulties (EBD) from ages 10 to 12. This children’s residential has a strong and supportive senior management team with over 10 years managerial experience, and 16 years’ experience working with Hexagon. Located near to the M65 this home is easily accessible from other areas such as Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington, Colne, and some parts of South Ribble Preston. Many Senior Residential Support Workers have progressed into deputy and home manager positions within the company. As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will have the following: A minimum of 18 months experience working in a children’s residential setting Diploma Level 3 (Children’s residential/Young people workforce or equivalent accredited qualification) The desire and passion to safeguard, motivate, and inspire the young people in your care Lead, demonstrate, and share best practice to other practitioners in your home. In addition to working closely alongside Psychologists and our specialist therapeutic services team.
