QC Inspector - Mechanical - Inside IR35 Based in South West of Glasgow a QC Inspector is required on a 6 month contract basis to work for a major defence client. This is an great opportunity to join a leading edge and exciting programme of work which does offer an excellent working environment. Overview of the QC Inspector The successful candidate will be responsible for verification of cross trade inspections and acceptance activities across Programmes ensuring specifications and standards are applied. To support the implementation of Zero Defect Culture/Right First Time Develop and maintain processes and procedures applicable to Quality Control role. Providing professional support, advice and guidance for all Quality aspects throughout the Programme including improvement initiatives. Key Skills of the QC Inspector Knowledge of Quality tools and techniques. Understand Quality Function structure and various interaction responsibilities. (QA, BI,SA) Ability to support a team of Quality professionals. Relationship and stakeholder management with both internal and external customers. Maintain expertise, trust and credibility as a Quality professional Experience of Shipbuilding (desirable) Extensive knowledge and understanding of the build process.
