Overview

Senior Systems Engineer Bristol £33,797 – £40,322 This is an exciting time to join the Unified Comms/Systems team at UWE. We are at the beginning of our journey to transform our UC portfolio, including transitioning to Microsoft Teams, introducing new video conferencing equipment and using Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) to manage our mobile fleet. You will be heavily involved with helping to craft our technical strategy and deployment to enable this, working with colleagues across the function and the University and planning to migrate our 4,000 and 30,000 students to this new environment over the coming years. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting our contact centre system and leading the technical planning for the mission-critical Clearing event, when we deal with thousands of contacts in a single day. This role is full time and permanent, working 37 hours per week.
